Fun excursion day with more beautiful sceneries
After breakfast, you will go for a trip to Pahalgam, gateway of Amarnath Yatra. Enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. A small village set in pine and fir forest is pleasing and offers a good view. On arrival into Pahalgam, Betab valley (formerly known as Hajan valley) and Aru valley will greet you with their natural beauty. Be mesmerized with the scenic meadows and mountains of Aru valley which is also a base camp for trekking to the kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake and in evening back to Srinagar
After breakfast, you will go for a trip to visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashma Shahi. Explore the Shankaracharya Temple and go for a Shikhara ride on Dal Lake. Later visit Lal Chowk and shop for some souvenirs. Later, visit Lal Chowk & shop for some souvenirs. Early morning proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - "the meadow of flowers" is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (Not included) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced Gondola lift (Not Included). Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Have breakfast get driven to Kargil via Sonmarg. Enjoy the picturesque view of snow capped mountains with our army jawans standing tall against all. On the way to Kargil visit Kargil War memorial dedicated to martyrs of Operation Vijay. Check in at the pre-booked hotel. Evening will be free for leisure activities around. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning after breakfast, we leave for Leh, Enroute visit Monasteries at Mulbekh and Lamayuru, the Tall Buddha statue and Lunar Landscapes on the way, Also called the Yung-drung (Swastika) monastery, Lamayuru is one of the oldest monasteries in Central Ladakh, Sham Valley, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib supposed to be built to mark the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to this area. Proceed further and experience the effects of Magnetic Hill which is set to defy the law of gravity and admire the confluence of holy Indus & Zanskar.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. Visit the Hall of Fame This is a museum maintained by the Indian Army showcasing their strength during the different wars fought, Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Shopping at Leh market in the evening overnight stay at hotel
Start the day getting ready to travel to Nubra Via Khardongla Pass which, at 18360 ft, world’s highest motor able pass. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Ladakh. The unique landscape has given it the name of ‘desert in the sky. Not to be overlooked attraction of Nubra Valley is camel safari on the Hunder sand dunes. The double-humped camel takes you to explore the surrounding scenery. Visit the Diskit Monastery, one of the oldest and the largest monastery of Nubra also known as Future Buddha. Ride back to your camp for overnight Stay in Nubra.
Your day will start with a day visit to Turtuk, (border between India and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). It is one of the northernmost villages of the country . Turtuk is the last outpost of Indian controlled Ladakh. Turtuk is known for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots. Turtuk is one of the few places in India where one can witness Balti culture, and one can find a few home stays and guest houses in the village. Then ride back to Nubre, Hunder on the same route for overnight Stay In Hotl.
Start your day with a ride to the Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste. The Shyok Valley is the valley of the Shyok River situated in Ladakh. The valley is close to the Nubra Valley. Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. The eastern part of the lake is fresh, with the content of total dissolved solids while the western part of the lake is saline with spectacular basin area around. Afterwards return to camp at pangong and enjoy your dinner.
Drive to Tsomoriri Lake. It is a breathtaking journey on a trail that is literally a ‘no mans’ land. Vast lonely stretches on the Chanthang plateau makes this drive one of the best isolated drives of this tour. Enroute visit the faraway settlement of Chusul. Tsomoriri is situated at an altitude of 4511m above sea level; with an area of about 140 Sq.km. Spend your evening watching shadows of the surrounding mountain and the varying depths of Tsomoriri lake.
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Arrive at hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, get transferred to Leh Airport for boarding your flight to your destination. Tour Concludes with some wonderful long lasting memories.
