Your day will start with a day visit to Turtuk, (border between India and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). It is one of the northernmost villages of the country . Turtuk is the last outpost of Indian controlled Ladakh. Turtuk is known for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots. Turtuk is one of the few places in India where one can witness Balti culture, and one can find a few home stays and guest houses in the village. Start your day with a ride to the Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste. The Shyok Valley is the valley of the Shyok River situated in Ladakh. The valley is close to the Nubra Valley. Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. The eastern part of the lake is fresh, with the content of total dissolved solids while the western part of the lake is saline with spectacular basin area around.

The Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh at an elevation of 5,391 mtr. in the Ladakh Ranges between Leh and the Shyok River valley. It is one of the highest motor-able road in the world.
