What is a Manali-Leh / Ladakh Adventure Tour
This is a road-trip style tour through the Himalayas, starting from Manali (Himachal Pradesh), driving over high mountain passes, reaching Leh in Ladakh, and visiting valleys, lakes, and remote settlements. The "adventure" aspect comes from high altitudes, rugged roads, long drive days, plus spectacular landscapes and culture.
Wake up and have your breakfast As you drive towards Jispa, your next stop, you will pass many picturesque places enroot like the beautiful Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel After passing Atal Tunnel halt at Atal Tunnel towards you visit Sissu and Keylong and reach at Jispa under the star gazing.

The drive will continue through the upper Tanglang La pass (5280 Mts.) the second highest Motorable pass in the world that commands breath reaches of Indus Valley, you can take a drive to Upsi upon crossing the Indus River. This drive is an important part of getting acclimatised to high altitude; After check-in into a Leh hotel and getting refreshed overnight stay dinner will be in the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. Visit the Hall of Fame This is a museum maintained by the Indian Army showcasing their strength during the different wars fought, Spituk Monestry, Kali Mata Temple & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib supposed to be built to mark the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to this area. Proceed further and experience the effects of Magnetic Hill which is set to defy the law of gravity and admire the confluence of holy Indus & Zanskar Return back to Leh and Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace. overnight stay in hotel
Start the day getting ready to travel to Nubra Via Khardongla Pass which, at 18360 ft, world’s highest motor able pass. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Ladakh. The unique landscape has given it the name of ‘desert in the sky. Not to be overlooked attraction of Nubra Valley is camel safari on the Hunder sand dunes. The double-humped camel takes you to explore the surrounding scenery. Visit the Diskit Monastery, one of the oldest and the largest monastery of Nubra also known as Future Buddha. Ride back to your camp for overnight Stay in Nubra.
Start your day with a ride to the Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste. The Shyok Valley is the valley of the Shyok River situated in Ladakh. The valley is close to the Nubra Valley. Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an endorheic lake spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet situated at an elevation of 4,225 m. The lake is in the process of being identified under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. The eastern part of the lake is fresh, with the content of total dissolved solids while the western part of the lake is saline with spectacular basin area around. Afterwards return to camp at pangong and enjoy your dinner.
After having your first meal of the day, ride with your group back to leh. The Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh at an elevation of 5,391 mtr. in the Ladakh Ranges between Leh and the Shyok River valley. It is one of the highest motor-able road in the world. The name literally means "Northern Pass". Recollect some memories from movie Three Idiots by visiting their school (Three Idiot School). Relax your mind by visiting Shay, Thiksay and Hemis monastery. Showcase your photography skills at beautiful Sindhu Ghat frequently visited by spiritual seekers. And head back to Hotel In Leh .
After breakfast, get transferred to Manali for boarding your bus to your destination. Tour Concludes with some wonderful long lasting memories.
